The most versatile solo performance canoe produced, and perhaps the perfect solo river-running boat for day trips or expeditions. Durable Royalex® construction tolerates the extremes of running loaded through rapids and returning at the end of the day to surf a hole. Tumblehome makes efficient solo paddling easy, and the round v hull delivers excellent quickness, secondary stability, and maneuvering. Available with wood or vinyl gunwales.

The Clipper Solitude

The Solitude is one of our more popular solo canoes. It falls between the shorter slalom-type canoes and long cruising canoes. This gives it great versatility.

Eugene Jensen designed the hull with emphasis on stability and maneuverability, while retaining speed and tracking.

A spray deck is a popular option for this model.

The Solitude's seat is unique. It is easily adjustable to three different heights to allow for comfort and varying water conditions. As well, the seat slides, allowing for quick adjustment to the trim of the canoe.
